Our Plan was developed to optimize our Design Build process to fit your needs. It allows you to design your project down to the smallest detail.
In this first step, we review your needs, lifestyle and goals. Exploring possible solutions and reviewing the budget are integral parts of this meeting. As-built measurements will then be taken to generate plans of the existing conditions from which the concept plans will be produced.
Conceptual ideas and associated costs are presented in this second meeting. Concepts are kept loose to allow creativity while we continue to explore alternatives with you. Pricing is presented with these concepts to give you a more accurate expectation of costs. Your input on selections and additional details are taken into account to be applied to the next level of drawings.
Your design decisions are drawn up with further detail. At this stage we detail chosen materials and start making product selections. In a kitchen or bath renovation you would be presented with elevation drawings for a completed view of the project. This stage would include choices for such items as appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc. You would also receive a more accurate estimate with your selections reflected in the pricing.
Having become comfortable with design and pricing, you are now in a position to decide whether or not to proceed with construction. At this time we ask that you commit to your project through a Letter of Intent and deposit to secure your construction start time.
Detailed construction drawings, specifications, and contract price are prepared for construction. The scope of work will be fully defined, enabling us to contract to commence construction. You will also meet the project manager who has been matched to your project.
Upon presentation of the final plans and scope of work, you will sign the actual construction contract. All details will have been discussed prior to this date, providing a smooth start for your project. Any items, such as where your pets will be living, to how your tile pattern meets the tub, are all thought out before we start your project.
Once your project is completed you will receive a client notebook with a list of contacts, your selection lists, your paint selections, a general care and maintenance section, tear sheets and instruction and warranty information on the products installed for your project. You are then notified at a 90-day and one-year timeframe to address any small punch and warranty work that may be required.
Once a client of Trillium Construction, we will be glad to come out and do any type of Handyman services that you may need. Give us a call and we will be glad to send someone out to give you a cost on any type of service needed.
